Ordering Policy

  1. Any order placed by you via this website or via our Telesales department is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or service for the price (including the delivery and other charges that may be incurred) specified on this site or notified verbally at the time you place your order.
  2. You acknowledge that, by placing your order, you are agreeing to pay for and accept delivery of the goods ordered.
  3. Cancellations of goods ordered will only be accepted before 5.00pm on the same day as goods are ordered ONLY.
  4. Downs Office Equipment and Supplies may change the prices published on this website at any time. Prices of orders still ‘in progress’ but not completed are also subject to change and you agree to pay the price current at the time of order completion.
  5. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of prices, images and information displayed on this site, Downs Office Equipment and Supplies is not responsible for any error and reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including but not limited to, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price, image or the product description posted on this site, or an error in your order.
  6. DOE may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.

Delivery Policy

Free Delivery:
Delivery is free for all Stationery Orders in the Toowoomba Business District (may exclude items classified as Big and Bulky) utilising our DOE Delivery Service.
Delivery is free for all Stationery Orders above $80 outside Toowoomba Business District (may exclude items classified as Big and Bulky).

Please nominate to your Account Manager a “Preferred Carrier” for all Non Free Deliveries to your desired location. (Please note you must have an Account with this Carrier).

Zone 1 (North East Toowoomba) From 11.00am
Zone 2 (South East Toowoomba) From 11.00am
Zone 3 (South West Toowoomba) From 8.30am
Zone 4 (North West Toowoomba) From 1.00pm
Zone 5 (Central Business District) From 8.30am and 2.00pm

Please Note:
All deliveries are from Monday to Friday to your designated delivery address. Our DOE Delivery Services are not General Carriers or Couriers.
We treat every order as a priority and every effort will be made to get your order to you in a timely and safe manner.
Please allow a Processing time for all goods. Goods ordered before 12.00 Noon are delivered Next Business Day in the TBD Zones indicated above.
All goods ordered for Outside the TBD are despatched Next Business Day and may take 1-2 business days to arrive at your nominated destination.
All F.I.S. deliveries outside Toowoomba Business District will be via DOE’s preferred Carriers.
For Urgent Orders, Pick Up from DOE is always available or alternately a preferred Carrier or method may be used at the customers expense.

Back Orders:
Back Ordered goods are Items not normally stocked due to low demand, Custom Items or Temporarily Out of Stocks due to unexpected demand and are indicated by a * in the goods description. These items will be highlighted on your Invoice as Back Order and delivered once they arrive to DOE on the same Invoice Number (eg 1189890A).


Returns Policy

  • Any products that are damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied, must be communicated to the DOE Credit Officer within 7 days of receipt of goods.
  • Special Orders of non-stocked goods or Non Standard Items may incur a 20% Restocking Fee which will be deducted from the value of the credit and is at the discretion of the Credit Officer.
  • Freight costs for return of damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied items will be paid by DOE. Freight costs involved in returning incorrectly ordered items will be at the customerís expense.
  • Credit of goods is subject to approval upon return in original unopened, undamaged packaging and saleable condition.
  • No return of goods will be accepted without prior approval from the Credit Officer, and must be accompanied by an invoice or receipt as proof of purchase.

If any of the information you supply is found to be false or misleading, we will, if we deem it appropriate, report this to the appropriate authorities for them to investigate.

  5. When you log on to our site, we will ask you your e-mail address and password.
  6. When you submit feedback or questions via e-mail, or contact us for information about our Website, we will request your name and e-mail address. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiries.
  7. When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners. We may ask for other information to enable us to improve our site or to send you special offers.

For credit card transactions, Downs Office Equipment and Supplies Pty Ltd adds security by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This means that the credit card information you send is encrypted by your computer, and then decrypted again on our side, preventing others from accessing your private information in between. The payment process utilized by Downs Office Equipment and Supplies Pty Ltd uses HTTPS and is secured by 128bit SSL encryption. We do not store your credit card details.
